State Senate candidate Jeff Brown was first elected to the State Assembly 2002, where his focus has been on strengthening the economy and creating jobs, legislative and budget reform and on providing accessible and responsive service to his constituents. Brown has earned a reputation for being a responsive and accessible legislator and is the author of several state laws, including the "Come Home to New York" Network law and the Craig J. Todeschini felony pursuit law. Jeff Brown was born and raised in DeWitt. He graduated from Cornell University and Syracuse University College of Law, and, prior to his election to the State Assembly, served as the state's chief enforcement officer for the Department of Environmental Conservation's Region 7. Brown is the founder of the "Come Home to Syracuse" campaign, a not-for-profit coalition working to encourage CNY natives to return to this area. He also serves as a captain with the 174th Fighter Wing, based in Syracuse. Jeff, his wife Gina and their daughter live in the Village of Manlius, Onondaga County. |
