If you want to slow global warming, to stop our dependency on foreign oil and to make significant improvement in our domestic economy, then you want BioDiesel. What is BioDiesel? BioDiesel, is a smart renewable fuels program that will create much needed revenue for all counties in District 2 and through out California. BioDiesel is a clean burning alternative to diesel fuel produced from vegetable oil, primarily Soybeans. 100% Reduction of Sulfur Oxide Emissions. BioDiesel allows us to take immediate steps to clean up the air, slow global warming, reduce our dependency on foreign oil and make significant improvements to our domestic economy. Soybeans are a carbon dioxide (CO2) magnet that efficiently cleans our atmosphere day after day. Soybean demand will significantly improve farming economics. By utilizing acreage that is not being farmed we can grow enough soybeans to replace all of the diesel currently used in California. A smart renewable fuels program; a revenue enhancing system; that's BioDiesel. This program will stabilize electricity rates, reduce gasoline prices, increase farming profits and place no additional burden on taxpayers. Actually it will have the opposite effect. BioDiesel production is the perfect example of a revenue enhancing program. This type of thinking produces state revenues without raising taxes. My goal is to promote legislation that would ensure energy independence for all Counties in California through the production of BioDiesel. Get on Board, Make a Difference. |
