Our current representatives do not share our values.

By Blake L. Miles

Candidate for United States Representative; District 51

Our current representatives do not share our values.
Our current representatives do not share our values. When I taught school I could not give a student an aspirin even if I had a parent permission slip. They can take my 12 year old daughter out of school, across state lines, perform an abortion and return her to school without even telling me.

Those are not our values.

Jeremiah 1:5 says, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee"

January 26, 2006 the California Assembly voted for AB 606 that requires teachers to teach out children about homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality and the text books to be changed to include information about them. Yet if a teacher tells a student that the reason we celebrate Christmas is because Jesus Christ was born they are in trouble.

Those are not our values.

The Senator Jim Battin proposed a bill to the California Transportation Committee that we stream line construction of oil refineries in California like they did power plants during the power shortage. The Committee voted it down six democrats to one republican. He proposed that we could buy gas from Arizona if the price was more than 5 cents different. (May 24, 2006 $2.93 gallon in Phoenix Arizona) The Committee voted it down six democrats to one republican. The Sierra Club and the other influential environmental groups laughed at Battin. They want our gas prices high so that we will stop driving.

Those are not our values.
