COMMON SENSE LEADERSHIP-- FOR A CHANGE

My candidacy stands for balanced, common-sense leadership in the State Legislature. Combining my professional experience in financial services and my extensive community involvement, I believe I have the right skills to help create a better California/Silicon Valley for our children through a state government that is:

  • conscious of its responsibility to promote policies that encourage business and capital formation

  • providing an education system capable of graduating highly skilled and creative "knowledge workers" needed to keep California and America No. 1 in the global economy

  • building adequate infrastructure to improve the quality of life and ensure the safety of all Californians

  • developing safety nets that protect the most vulnerable in our communities while remaining cost effective through moving from bureaucratic solutions to public-nonprofit partnerships or public-private partnerships

  • affecting environmental policies that protect our children's health and preserve California's natural resources for their children
