Candidate for
Council Member; City of Santa Rosa

David Poulsen truly knows and deeply loves Santa Rosa. David puts it best. "I love this city. In fact, of all the places we have been in the world, coming home is always like a second vacation."

The fourth generation of his family to call Santa Rosa home David and the city where he was born matured together. David has literally borne witness as the provincial center once rooted in agriculture slowly evolved into a city that is now one of the most diverse in Northern California.

Always a strong supporter of those who advocate a cooperative and productive approach to meeting Santa Rosa's needs, David accepted his first public appointment to the Cultural Heritage Board. Next came a stint on the Planning Commission and he currently serves on the Waterways Committee. It should also come as no surprise that he is also the current President of the Santa Rosa Bukjeju Sister City Committee.

Santa Rosa has provided the Poulsen family with a solid foundation through four generations and David Poulsen would like to return the favor for the generations to come. "I have deep roots in this city...I am raising our family's 5th generation of Santa Rosans and I want to have a hand in making this a better place to live."
