Maxx Stalheim for City Council

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

My name is Maxx Stalheim, and I am running for Imperial Beach City Council. Please allow me a moment to provide a brief introduction and summary of my experience and priorities.

Experience matters! I bring to the City Council twenty years of urban planning experience, and the ability to hit the ground running. I have an extensive knowledge of budgets, zoning, environmental review, contracts, and public hearing processes. I will work tirelessly to defend our plan, protect our neighborhoods, conserve our resources, and generate revenues.

Endorsed by the Deputy Sheriff's Association + "Law Enforcement's Choice". Funding public safety and protecting our citizens are my top priorities. I will demand our community receive its fair share of State and Federal funds for public safety. I favor strengthening our COPPS program, and assisting officers and their families with home ownership.

Endorsed by Supervisor Greg Cox and Mayor Diane Rose + My experience as a public servant has provided the opportunity to forge strong relationships, with a wide variety of groups and individuals, professionals, and elected and appointed officials. As your representative, I will continue to build coalitions, establish consensus, and find solutions to our challenges.

Our natural assets + world class beaches, the estuary, and the bay, define our community character, and are the foundation of our tourism economy. Our legacy must be one of clean water, thriving businesses, and a deep respect for our natural endowments.
