Spearheaded the successful effort to install a Megan's Law CD- ROM in the Sheriff's Station, Poway was the first Contract City.

Had a Successful Project Kids Safe Work Shop 8- 11-2006 in partnership with Senator Hollingsworth cover 35 families 55 children were fingerprinted and photographed Kids from age 9 months to 15 years received ID kits for protection.
Responded to numerous requests from residents including assignment of more Sheriff's deputies and stopping objectionable locations of cell phones towers.
City Directed staff to look into erecting small signs that say "It's our neighborhood slow down". The signs are available to residents who want to place them in their yard.
Supported a Resolution calling for neighboring cities to reject increases in housing density until traffic solutions for 1-15 are in place. Opposed a large residential development on Poway Boarder.
Supported a Community Art Center Education with a place for children to learn Art joint project with PUSD.
Supported addition of Sheriff's deputies assigned to Poway which continues to have one of the lowers crime rate in the county. To reduce the threat of school violence, the city has added a uniformed officer at Poway High.
Supported a new Fire Station, Sheriff's Station Library and Boys and Girls Club
Opposed all proposals to increase housing density. Worked to stop State/County initiatives from breaking Poway's population ceiling.
As CO-Chair of a County-wide committee considering construction of a new north-south highway, voted against bringing it (SR-125) through Poway.
Supported Poway's purchase of landmark hills. Was instrumental in having Poway named a "Tree City'.
Protected Poway's General Plan from relentless pressures by outside developers.
