In the next four years I will focus on:

Improving the customer service and response times in our Emergency Rooms.

Maintaining our focus of providing the best quality health care.

Hiring the best nurses and ancillary staff, and maintaining positive employee relations.

Representing the business community through my role as the CEO of the San Diego North Chamber.

Serving as the board member who represents each of our communities and their specific needs.

Implementing the Master Facilities Plan by increasing our bed capacity from 431 beds to 736 beds.

Building a new 453 bed "Hospital of the Future" in Escondido with the latest technology and "state of the art" Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgical, Oncology, Surgical, and Women's Services.

Increasing Emergency Room and Trauma Care capacity, Urgent Care Centers, and other clinical services throughout the Hospital District.

Redesigning and modernizing Palomar Hospital.

Expanding the PPH School of Nursing at Cal State San Marcos
