My fellow board members recognize leadership qualities and appointed me to represent you at the San Diego County Water Authority [SDCWA] and the Metropolitan Water District [MWD]

I have served as previous President of South Bay Irrigation District and am currently Chairman, Sweetwater Authority. I have served as Chairman for[SDCWA]Audit,Engineering and Operations Committiees.My appointments at [MWD]includes Chairman of Education/Outreach,Vice Chairman of Desalination, Engineering and Operations Committees.

My wife and I have lived in Chula Vista for 45 years. We raised two sons here and our granddaughters are now growing up here.I was raised on a farm in the Midwest with six brothers and we were taught by our parents and grandparents,who were immigrants, that service to others was expected. It's been my honor to represent you over the years making sure you have a plentiful supply of quality water, at a fair price.
