There are currently projects in the planning stage that would put 500 new homes on the already over-burdened Buckman Springs Road. What will happen when these new home owners commute to work each day?
There are two developments that are currently in the planning stages that would put 500 new homes on Buckman Springs Road. In addition, there is a new sand mine in the wings that could also add to the congestion by bringing more sand trucks to the area. What will happen to the already over-burdened Buckman Springs Road when these new homeowners commute to work each day? If re-elected I would vote to deny any massive projects that could jeopardize the safety of our community while adding to the burden of that road. Buckman Springs Road will never be a four-lane highway and any development must be compatible to that.
