My vision For Oceanside

My vision of Oceanside is a balanced city with jobs for its residents and sales taxes to support a superior way of life.

Oceanside is at a crossroads. The council is in a massive give-away of our assets; The $27 million dollar subsidy to the hotel, which I opposed (see video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pOLAtFlr8c); the closing of the airport; sale of Marina Towers; and now, they are talking about giving away the center city golf course. Oceanside has one of the lowest Jobs to homes and sales tax per capita in San Diego County. We need jobs and sales tax to survive in the future. But Oceanside is cutting its infrastructure to the remaining land available for commercial development ie. Elimination Ranch Del Oro road form hiway 76 to hiway 78, turning down $500 million from SANDAG for repairs! Refusing 14, 000 grant for the air port. Restore Rancho Del Oro as a major north south road. Widen parts of College Avenue and El Camino real. Complete Melrose and Cannon roads

Most important get the council to work as a team with a respectful manner.

I will hire more police until Oceanside's crime rate falls below the national average; we need more cops. I will provide more free parking for Oceanside residents at the beach. In fact we should give Oceanside residents priority in everything we do.
