Full Biography for Jac M. Siegel

In my more than thirty years as a member of this community, I have been a renter, a homeowner, a landlord, a senior manager in a number of large aerospace companies, and also a small business owner. My children attended Mountain View public schools. My wife Sharon and I have participated in numerous community groups and organizations. I think this life experience in the community has prepared me well for the important job of recognizing and balancing the needs and interests of all people in Mountain View. I believe that the combination of my professional experience and my city activism make me a highly qualified candidate for the city council. As a successful senior engineering program manager and business development director in companies including GTE Government Systems, TRW, Loral, and Lockheed, I have been responsible for budgets in excess of 100 million dollars per year, and have managed upwards of 1000 employees at a time. I think that my demonstrated leadership in program management, line management, and business development will be an asset to the residents of Mountain View as we craft policies and make decisions on the important issues, such as development projects and employee contract negotiations.
