My service shall only be for the people of Milpitas and other citizens; Government ethics and strong leadership are most important to me.
Positions/Performance:
1. No on Measure I + Charter City
2. Led on Measures H and I for New Library; passed with >70% approval
3. No on the>1M pay increase for Police Contract , 2006
4. No on abolishing Ethics code in Milpitas
5. No on Increase in Milpitas Water Rates
6. Yes on Measure T + preserving the Hillsides
7. No on Open Government Subcommittee by Council Members
8. No on study to replace operation of library by County Library
9. Yes on Measure A to support Schools
10. Yes on Measures A & B to support our Libraries
11. No to having interim City Manager for almost 2 years
12. No to $218,000 salary for an interim City Manager
13. Proposed to Freeze city employee salaries and benefits to solve budget deficit
14. 100% Attendance on all regular Council meeting, 1998 to present
15. Annual Decrease of Milpitas Crime Rate
16. Milpitas ranked # 17 as Most Livable Place in the U.S.,MoneyCNN.com
17. General fund revenue better than original estimate by $8.8 million for FY 05-06
18. AA Financial Rating for Milpitas + highest for a City in CA
