I am asking for your vote so that I can bring strong leadership and oversight back to our High School District. My priority is to insure the public trust is upheld; that your tax dollars are wisely spent on our children's/student's education and safety. Simply put, I see that as the mission of the Board. My experience as a parent of a Righetti High School senior, an attorney experienced in construction law and real estate transactions and my experience outside of the education industry will assist in putting our High Schools on the right path. I am a current member of the High School Bond Oversight Committee, whose duties include insuring your tax dollars are efficiently spent on appropriate projects according the law and text of the bond. As well, I am General Counsel for the Santa Maria Valley Contractor's Association. I promise to get the new high school built (since the current Board has not made this a priority), and NOT to build it in the manner Pioneer Valley High School was built. I further promise to stop the wasteful spending of our tax dollars by the High School District! A vote for Jonathan Milder will improve our schools. |
