My Platform of Change and Committment

I am running for the Riverside Community College. I have lived in California since 1979 and in Riverside for 28 years. I have also worked as an educator in Perris, Riverside, and Alvord School Districts as a teacher. As a staff member in the school district, i have attended staff meetings to discuss and implement plans to improve the education of the students. Also, i have worked as a teacher in New York. I have held many numerous jobs adressing issues of gang violence in the schools and community. As an Eastside Resident, I was personally asked to assist with housing concerns by City Council Ward 2 member Andrew Melendrez. This demonstrates my commitment to the community that i live in and shows my sincerity to change.

As a board member, I would adress and further the commitment to improve the Education of students through community outreach, resources and community partnership. I would also find ways to help high school students to pass the exit exam utilizing the resources at RCC, UCR, and community services. Campaign donations are glady accepted
