PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: 1980 - 2000 Police Officer City of La Habra Worked patrol, Investigation (including Homicide, Felony Assaults, and Sexual Assault) and Traffic Division. The majority of my career as an "Officer" was spent in the uniform working Patrol and Traffic. As a Sergeant, I worked Patrol Division, Traffic Division, and Professional Standards.
Recognition and Awards: 2000-2002: Investigator with the Orange County District Attorney's Office 2001-2002: Yorba Linda Traffic Commissioner 2002-Present: City of Yorba Linda Council Member, served as Mayor in 2005. 2002-Present: Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors, currently serving as Chair 2002-Present: Self-employed Real Estate Appraiser 2005-Present: Placentia Yorba Linda Boys and Girls Club, Board member EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration September 1989 - National University, San Diego, CA OTHER VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES: Travis Ranch Elementary School classroom volunteer. JUSA soccer coach for 9 years PERSONAL HISTORY: Raised in the City of Orange. Attended public schools including Fletcher Elementary, Peralta Junior High, and Canyon High Married for 21 years to David Wilson, a native Southern Californian, and a Captain with the Orange County Sheriffs Department. Three children: Kindra, Zachary, and Kristin. As a family we enjoy a variety of activities especially boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, soccer, hockey, and white water rafting.
