Candidate for
Council Member; City of San Juan Capistrano

After listening to forums and in participating in other discussions it appears that most candidates are pretty close on most issues in both content and solution.

So how are you to choose the most qualified for the three vacancies on our city council?

I would suggest that the best way to judge the candidates is by understanding their demonstrated performance either in office or by career achievement.

First there was my thirty year Marine career, during which I fought in Viet Nam and the First Gulf war and rose to the rank of Major General.

Secondly, I was the Head of America's Human Space Flight Program at NASA, where I was responsible for 19 successful space shuttle missions. This is a record that no one has attained before or since.

And finally, my tenure with Lockheed Martin IMS, as a Senior Vice President, where we developed the Statewide Automated Child Support Collection System for California and the Automated toll collection system for the Orange County Toll Roads.

These are reasons why I feel confidant in asking for a leadership position in our city.

I humbly ask for your vote, so together, we can launch San Juan Capistrano into a better future together.
