The importance of changing the status quo- your vote gives you, the Residents, the power to make a change.

I was deeply honored by the confidence and trust of the many thousands of Newport Beach residents who voted for me in 2004. Now I need your vote again - and the votes of your friends and neighbors - for this is truly a grassroots, neighbor-to-neighbor campaign. We enjoy an outstanding and unique lifestyle in Newport Beach, and that is exactly what is at stake in this election + our way of life! Together we can work to keep Newport Beach a unique, world-class Beach City, while ensuring it will still be recognizable as such by our children.

Through my years of involvement with the Environmental Quality Affairs Committee (EQAC), as a Daily Pilot Watchdog Columnist and as your community activist (for over 12 years), I have continually demonstrated a passion and insight in doing what's best for the residents. The work is not easy, but with all of you, your talents and dreams, we can make it happen together!

Newport Beach is at a crossroad. You understand what's at stake in Newport Beach + you and your children's way of life, as we know it today! We're all in this together. Now is the time to make changes to assure your future will be about You! Your vote will and can change the status quo.

Our City of Newport Beach has over 80,000 residents and yet we still have the feeling of a small town. Your vote of support for me on November 7th will help to ensure that it stays that way.
