- Create more regular policy input meetings for teachers, parents and citizens on targeted subjects such as budget priorities, standardized tests, etc..
- Reverse the recent trend to lay off school professionals before implementing other less drastic measures
- Recruit a new superintendent whose administrative philosophy is consistent with my platform, and who specifically puts Students First
