Political Philosophy for Harry J. Krebs
Candidate for |
My top priority and concentration is on crime prevention and code enforcement. As a member of the Chief's Forum and as an active Chaplain of the Garden Grove Police Dept. i have the unique ability to get involved with both areas. I work closely with the residents, am a great listener an "doer". I will personally continue to answer all phone calls and e-mails on enforcement and other matters. I oppose eminent domain and high density developments and have voted along these lines. I want to see more parks and recreation areas and look for developers to include these in their plans. I am a fiscal conservative and a supporter of balanced budgets. I look for Redevelopment to stand on its own feet and return investments and income to the City's bottom line. To keep the integrity of our City, I will work on beautification of all approaches to Garden Grove, planned landscaping, and will work on traffic problems that seem out of control in many of our cities areas. Above all, i will continue to work on parking problems which I consider one of our major needs if we want to attract tourist and neighbors to visit our hotels and restaurants. I have started to work with staff on this problem and will put extra efforts into it. |
