Protecting our quality of life means supporting completion of the Park and Aquatic Center, our children need space to grow and play.We are now a community of close to 70,000 residents we need to have these parks completed. We must become active participants in our childrens and grandchildrens future. We need safe streets and abundant parks. We need to make this a top priority and get the park built. We can partner with private business and raise the money needed, this park will be on its way! On Friday, October 27 the city held an event and asked attendees to "donate" pay for the building of La Pata/Vista Hermosa, an example: benches $5,000 each. We cannot expect young families to "donate" (pay for) a Little League Field at $100,000 or Sport Field Lightning at $20,000! I promise to get this park built! |
