Frank Finn Candidate for Orange City Council

I am a firm believer that government exists for the sole purpose of serving the community. It should not be overly intrusive in the daily lives and activities of the people it exists to serve. I will never forget that it is your money the Council spends and I will always work relentlessly to provide the best value for your tax dollar. Too many politicians forget this and promote their own agenda, disregarding the needs and desires of their constituents. As a council member, I will make logical, well thought out decisions that benefit the entire community after thoughtfully considering all sides of the issue. I will be an advocate for Public Safety and City employees because I know that a loyal, fairly compensated and well qualified workforce provides a superior work product and the citizens of this City deserve that. As a resident of Orange since 1981, that is what I have grown to expect.

I have a great deal of experience working with other city departments, government agencies and private organizations in order to protect the community and enhance the quality of life of those I serve. That will be my number one goal if elected to the Orange City Council.

I am a member of, and have served as Co-Chair of the Orange County Child Passenger Safety Task Force for three terms. I was Treasurer for the Orange County Traffic Officers' Association for 4 years and a member for over 16. I was a volunteer advisor to the Police Explorer Scout program and worked with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County First Class Program. I have been married since 1995 and have a 10 year old daughter, two step daughters and three grand children.

I have the education, experience, integrity and strength of character to provide this city the leadership it needs. I do not have the backing of any politicians, corporations, or power brokers. I will not be beholding to any company, organization, group or person other than the citizens of the City of Orange. I will represent all segments of the populace, not just the wealthy, powerful or well connected. I do not look for any personal gain other than the satisfaction of doing my best to make Orange the safe, peaceful, caring community we will all be proud to work and raise our families in.

If you are looking to support an honest candidate who is not a politician and will not promise anything other than to work tirelessly to serve this community to the best of my ability, I would be grateful for your vote.
