Candidate for
Councilmember; City of King City

I was born in Little Rock, AR, and moved to California before I was one year old. I grew up in Artesia, CA, attending local schools.

I moved to King City in 1981 to build a new radio station, KLFA, one of the first Spanish stations in the central coast. My son Danny Mauras graduated from King City High School.

After selling KLFA, I built a new station KLUE. When I sold KLUE, I retired and married my husband Joe Grebmeier, who is now the Chief of Police in Greenfield, CA and served on the King City council for eight years.

I belong to the King City Rotary Club, Silver Kings & Queens, King City Chamber of Commerce and the Rebecca Lodge.

My experience in both local business and community issues provides me with a good understanding of what needs to be done to bring King City back to financial health and to prepare for the future.
