Candidate for Sheriff-Coroner; County of Mendocino

This information is provided by the candidate
As your Sheriff-Coroner, I'm committed to protecting the people of Mendocino County. Serving in this role takes leadership, integrity, and hard work. I have demonstrated those traits and the reason I was appointed Mendocino County Sheriff. I've served the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office for more than 22 years. Prior to being appointed Sheriff, I was the countywide operations commander for eight years. In that time, I've been an integral part of this office as it has evolved and grown with Mendocino County. My priority as your Sheriff is to make sure that our senior citizens, families and youth of this county are safe in their homes and neighborhoods. I will continue to update and improve our programs and facilities, but most important I'll make sure our sheriff deputies have the tools they need to do their job.

I will work to:
1 Focus on the issues that affect us all, such as domestic violence, gangs, and substance abuse with methamphetamine a priority.
2 Update and enhance deputy training programs and safety equipment.
3 Improve services by working together with other public safety agencies.

You can count on me to protect our unique county. I ask for your vote. Thank you.
