Fiscal Conservative

Currently the Water Board receives $1.3 million from a parcel tax. They would have you believe this money goes to buy water. This is not true. The money is used in a variety of ways - some good and some that I believe to be wasteful. For instance, for the last 6 years the Board has spent over $100,000 per year for advertising. I will scrutinize every program that is currently in place and work to eliminate those that are wasteful.
