If elected to be a board member, I will do my best to see that the needs of the students are met. I wll do my best to make sure each student has an equal chance to learn. I will also make sure that the best teachers available are hired. Students need good teachers and the best materials available in order to learn. I will also try to make sure that the test scores remain where they should be. Since the new High School Exit Exam has taken effect, the students need to be better prepared to be able to pass this test. It is the school district's responsiblity to see that this is accomplished from grades K - 12. This will be one of my priorities. We also need parent involvement. I will work to see that we get parent involvement.
