Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Rescue Union School District

I have resided in Cameron Park for 27 years with my wonderful husband and raised two children in the Rescue District schools. During this time I have volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout Den Mother, PTA member, School Site Council Member, Scrip Coordinator and helped secure the 49ers to play benefit basketball all while serving on the Rescue Schools Foundation. Having been on the board for the last 10 years, I have attended hundreds of hours of workshops and attained my Masters of Boardsmanship. I played an active role in passing the Measure K School Bond and have been a devoted voice over the development of our schools.

I am very proud of the Rescue Union School District community. Rescue District is a place where families buy homes just to be part of our schools. I am also exceptionally proud of our test scores and our dedicated staff which have been the key to our success.
