My approach throughout more than twenty years of volunteer public service has been to maintain a respectful attitude toward all participants in the process, to foster open and responsive communication among all constituencies, and to focus intently on fiscal conservatism. I am convinced that only through a collaborative effort, bringing the community, the schools and our business partners together, can we maximize our quality of life here in Orinda.

Orinda faces difficult challenges ranging from much-needed road repairs and failing infrastructure, to critical long-term decisions weighing conflicting opportunities for community improvements. My promise is to help establish priorities to best allocate scarce resources through diligent fact gathering, thoughtful study of all options, inclusion of all interested parties, and decisions made with a fair and open mind. I am intent on discovering and implementing what is in the best interest of our citizens and community.
