Currently the Ambrose Rec. and Park District building has many areas that need immediate attention.The interior of the building needs to be painted and the damaged ceiling tiles should be replaced. The gas kitchen stove that is used by many groups for food preparation and cooking needs to be cleaned and repaired. If that is not possible, then a new gas stove needs to be purchased as soon as possible. Groups that pay rent for the use of the kitchen need to have the appliances for food preparation for their events in working order. Several times during the Christmas parties for the community and sponsored by the CCC Sherrifs office the stove had broken down and not been in working order. The maintenance of the Ambrose Rec. and Park District building needs to be part of the Ambrose Budget. Specific areas in the building should be listed in the budget with specific costs for each set. The bathrooms in the Ambrose building need to be upgraded to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. |
