To remain a locally owned & controlled asset of our community, Washington Hospital must remain financially strong yet provide a vast spectrum of relevant, high quality yet affordable services to the owners of the Hospital - the residents of the District.

In the next year we will open a new Women's Health Center, a new Digital Imaging Center and a new Neuroscience Center. In the next 4 years we will build a new Power Plant which will power our new facilities and begin work on a new building which will house an expanded ER, Intensive Care Unit & Cardiac Care Unit.

Increase accessibility to residents by providing health plans at competative rates with an emphasis on pro-active wellness programs.
