BIOGRAPHYBy Mohinder KhannaCandidate for Member, Board of Directors; Dublin San Ramon Community Services District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I have been living in the Bay area since 1968. My wife and I moved to the City of San Ramon in 2003 from the Fremont and Union City area where we had lived since 1975. I am married with two adult children. Both of my children are graduates of University of California - Irvine. I have over 36 years of experience in the planning and design of Water Wastewater Engineering. I recently retired as a Senior Engineering Manager from the City of San Francisco's Department Of Public Works / the Public Utilities Commission where I worked since 1970. My education and work experience makes me the ideal candidate for this position. I have a BS degree in Chemistry, a BS degree in Civil Engineering and a MS degree in Environmental/Sanitary Engineering from UC- Berkeley in 1969. Since 1974, I have been a registered Civil Engineer with the State of California. The Tri-Valley area is beautiful with excellent park & recreational facilities. I believe, if given an opportunity to serve as a Director on the distinguished Dublin-San Ramon Services District, I can assist the Board in further improving the quality of water and its conservation and keep the water rates low. I humbly request your support and vote to elect me as Director, Dublin San Ramon Water Services district.
Water is a god given gift and a precious resource. It must be used wisely.
