Ohlone College is part of the Silicon Valley, also known as the epicenter of technology. As such, it must be prepared to offer students the classes and training required to be successful in the ever changing labor market of the valley. I will ensure that Ohlone meets this requirement by:
- Maintaining and enhancing the partnerships with local
business leaders
- Securing the funds necessary to purchase state of the
art equipment and materials to teach with current
technology and knowledgeable staff
- Maintain an up-to-date detail of the jobs of the
future in order to be prepared to meet those
requirements, academically and technically.
