Elected to the State Assembly in November of 2000, Horton has been a tireless advocate for job creation, education, and working families. He has served in numerous capacities, including Chair of the Assembly Committee on Governmental Organization, Member of the Education Budget Committee, Member of the California Workforce Investment Board and Member of the California Cultural and Historical Endowment.
