Candidate for
Governor; Republican Party

I am a conservative Republican adhering to the philosophy of Ronald Reagan exemplified both as Governor of California and as President of the United States. I believe that the least amount of government interference in our lives, the better. I believe in the ability of people to do for themselves, without a nanny state to care for them. I believe in the free market as defined by Adam Smith, and more recently Milton Friedman. I believe that the first and most important government is the family. I believe in the ability of parents to decide what is best for their own children, without meddling from government institutions. I believe that government should empower parents to do what is right for their children. The greatest thing government can do for the people of this state, is to leave them more of their own money, from which to provide for their needs, and the needs of their families.
