A brief character scketch of the candidate, and his personal valuesI am a farm boy. I love the mountains. I spend most of my time alone. I walk with the great minds of history, and ponder the unkowables. I am young at 60, but my soul is timeless. I worship God;s Creation and the world man has evolved over eons. I share my life with whomever is at hand, and live here in the present - with an eye to the New Dawn. I grew up in Silicon Valley when it was an agricultural 'heart's delight.' Fate brought me to my mother's Alma Mater where, eventually, I got four degrees. I have, since my days as a Boy Scout (I won the Eagle Award) been active in my community, putting in service where time allowed, and participating in events of our 'California Culture.' I am a scholar. I found that path by chance, not choice, and have developed my own theory of Self-Government and Self-Actualization. I fear God and the powers that be who destine our path and fate our lives. I am a Christain, with Deep roots in Eastern and Western Philosphj.
