This information is provided by the candidate

Alejandro believes in regionalism. He is a true believer that cities and the County must work together in order to truly accomplish and meet the unmet needs of our County in particular those of District 3.

Alejandro supports development but believes that each South County city or community should strive to maintain its unique charm and character. The protection of viable agricultural land is key, but he understands that growth is inevitable and that it's a balancing act that must be monitored closely. However, he sustains that like housing that must be built there must also be job creation that is created as well. Alejandro believes that when families and communities are placed first our communities are healthier, more productive and safer. Alejandro Chavez is a new voice, with a new vision and a proven record of commitment to making government work for families.
