Candidate for
Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Los Angeles; Assembly District 55

For over eleven years Harold Williams served the California Democratic Party at the grass roots level as a member of several democratic clubs and the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC) as chair of the 55th Assembly District Committee (ADC). By virtue of being Chair of the 55th ADC through DSCC, he was an ex-officio member of the County Central Committee. During this period, he kept his commitment to the Party . . . to align with the mission and vision of the Democratic Party. Williams was a volunteer to the 2000 Democratic National Convention. He attended all State conventions and most Executive Board meetings up and down the state.

In 1997, Marilyn Landau, Director, Region 17 recognized him for his outstanding service and dedication to Region 17 of DSCC. Now Harold wants to continue to help lead the 55th ADC into the 21st Century as an elected member of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Central Committee.

Williams has distinguished himself by being chosen Male Democrat of the Year in the 55th Assembly District in 2002. Also, as a community leader as a Council Member for the City of Carson.
