I have represented persons of many different nationalities and races. I have protected their rights under the U.S. and State Constitutions in criminal and civil matters. I have had the benefit of practicing in both Federal and State Courts so that my knowledge of the law is broad and will be important when making judicial decisions. My cases have also involved family law matters where children's and property rights are protected. I know that I will be fair to all people before me and not sit on the bench with any prejudices that could affect my fairness to either party.

I also believe that judicial temperament is an important factor. I am a good listener and have had success in the settlement of many cases because of my patience, professionalism, openness and honesty. My demeanor toward opposing counsels, judges and the parties has always been composed. I also believe that serving as a judge is another form of community service which is an important part of my life.
