Francine believes that all Americans deserve access to quality, affordable health care. Francine supports tax credits for small businesses and the self-employed and increased access to purchasing pools so small businesses can provide health care to their employees. She supports making a portion of health insurance premiums tax deductible to reduce costs to families. She also supports reducing the cost of medication through negotiated prices with drug companies and re-importation of safe prescriptions from Canada. Francine also believes we must encourage preventative health care that can reduce long-term health care costs and improve the health of all Americans.
