WENDELL YOUNG'S POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY:

I believe that every American citizen has a duty to participate as fully as possible in the political process.

I believe economic status should not be a barrier to seeking political office.

I believe representatives of government should be from the entire spectrum of the governed.

I believe voter registration should be as easy as possible. It should occur upon graduation from High School, attaining the age of majority, or upon becoming an American citizen.

I believe our government works best when the consensus of the governed is known and the governed know how to hold it's representatives accountable.

I believe public service is a high calling and that those who seek to hold public office should see their duty as a sacred trust between themselves and the people they represent.
