I believe that this is the time that the Board needs to steward the funding that the community has provided to manage the school district I have an open mind, but like to consider all aspects of a situation before rendering a decision. Occasionally, I have proposed an alternate solution just to ensure that all aspects of a situation are investigated, not just the most popular solution.

My extensive work experience and being part of three other Boards has provided me with an understanding of how to present alternative views of the same problem.

In addition, since I have no children in the school system, I do not have the problem of potentially eliminating something that could affect my child.
