Over 37 years ago, my wife, Eldie, and I chose to settle down in South San Francisco. We worked here, raised a family, and made many friends. I've always enjoyed being an active member of the community because of my commitment to South San Francisco.

When I consider making a decision, I draw from my experience as a parent, small business owner, tenant, mediator, community activist, and property owner. My number one question when I am deliberating is: Will this enhance the quality of life for us here in the City?

My years of volunteer service and my integrity guide me in serving you. My record as a Councilmember is evidence of my concern for the welfare of our residents and neighbors.

Since May, 2000, I have been serving you on our City Council with the strong support of my wife, Eldie, my adult children, grandchildren, and friends. Their encouragement and understanding nourishes me, and their sense of humor keeps me energized and grounded.

I am always accessible to you, and rely on your input. I ask that you allow me to continue to be your voice on our South San Francisco City Council for 4 more years. Let your voice be heard through your vote at the polls on November 8th. Thanks!
