Involving Students with City Government

Candidate for City Clerk; City of San Bruno

This information is provided by the candidate
I would like to create a program whereby students of Capuchino High School and Skyline College can volunteer at City Hall earning credits.
I would like to create a student program through Capuchino High School and Skyline College to offer non-paid internships to students interested in City Government.

The students would be helpful in filling in areas such as:

Receptionist for Departments

Sorting/Opening Mail

Photo Copying

Posting Out Going Mail

Research

Filing

Computer work, etc.

They could earn credits for their work, and learn about City Government. This would be very helpful to Departments and would be no cost to the City.
