The California Dream

The California Dream My father, George, came out to California when he was in the military. He remembers the train trip through the acres of orange groves and his first look at the Pacific Ocean. He fell in love with California, and then he fell in love with a California girl. Unfortunately, the "California Dream" has been twisted and eaten away.

My goal is restore the California Dream.

No ordinary California gal, my mother's family went back four generations as native Californians. My father learned how to surf, had two children, and worked hard to finally be able to build his dream home on Sunset Cliffs Blvd. His story is more than the "American Dream"

As a kid, growing up on the "Cliffs" was heaven on earth. It was the best playground I could have asked for... swimming, jumping off the arch and running around in the caves.
My husband also, moved to California, learned to surf, and married me, a California girl.
Like my parents, we also worked hard to own a home here. This is the community we love.
Unfortunately, the "California Dream" has been twisted and eaten away.
Property in San Diego has become so high priced that our government has become more of a partner with developers than an entity that serves us, the public. A broke city, eminent domain abuse, public lands giveaways, and the threat of airport runways through Point Loma and Midway/Sports Arena are not what I had in mind as our California Dream!"
My goal is restore the California Dream.
