Council Member; City of San Clemente

Steve Knoblock, age 53, is a Family Man, Businessman, Community Leader.

Steve is running for San Clemente City Council because of his desire to help promote and preserve the unique quality of life San Clemente residents enjoy. He believes that we must maintain and improve this quality for our next generation. One of ten children, Steve was the first of his family to graduate from college. He is an attorney by training and a real estate professional for a fortune 500 company.

Steve and his wife, Twyla, have six children, and one grandchild. Their youngest son, Chris is a sophomore at San Clemente High School. Their son, Brian is a Marine, and their son in law, Ari, is a Marine Sergeant. Both have recently returned from Iraq, where they served our country in the war against terror.

During Steve's professional life, he has consistently served the community in various capacities, which includes: deacon and elder boards in the local Church, the Orange County Civic Center Commission, Assessment Appeals Board, APCD Hearing Board (Chairman), First Vice Chair of the Republican Party Central Committee, and of the member of Surfrider Foundation.
