The value of an education is immeasurable and educational opportunities should be available to all who choose to participate. Compton Community College provides postsecondary education to its residents and is an integral and an important part of our community. I have lived in the Compton area all my life and I believe in its future. I also believe that I can contribute to this future by helping the College keep its accreditation.

I will bring to the governing board:

  • Integrity

  • Character

  • Civic-minded responsibility

When elected, I will work towards the following goals:
  • TO maintain the full accreditation of Compton Community College and bring the campus back to greatness

  • TO recruit our bright, local youths to Compton College who might otherwise go to other colleges

  • TO maintain Compton College's high academic standards

  • TO develop a stronger relationship between Compton College and the surrounding UC and CSU campuses

  • TO strive to achieve greater unity and cooperation between faculty members, students, administrators and board members

  • TO establish a relationship with the corporate community in order to provide employment for our students

I look forward to serving on the Compton Community College Board of Trustees.
