Governing Board Member; Rio Hondo Community College District; Trustee Area 1

I truly believe that elected representatives should serve their community and not themselves. They should be willing to use their own funds and not those of others--lest they then be beholden to special inerest groups. For this reason I have not sought and will not accept even a single dollar from anyone outside my immediate family. I seek to serve my community and not myself. If elected, one must complete the entire term of office and not jump from one level to another. A trustee is entrusted with the interests of his/her community and must work to ensure that those interests are protected.
