Governing Board Member; South Whittier Elementary School District

Dear Neighbor:

I have been a resident and involved in our South Whittier community for over thirty years. My wife and I have been married for over thirty-eight years and have two children and one grandson. Our kids attended schools in South Whittier and graduated from area colleges and universities. I want to continue improving our students' learning enviornment and increasing their academic achievement.

I ask for your vote of continued support!

I want to continue our successful efforts that have produced significant inprovements in the following areas:

  • Significant improvement in student academic achievement.
  • Recruitment of highly qualified teachers.
  • Implementation of a comprehensive school safety program.
  • New construction and modernization at all schools.
  • New libraries and computer research centers.
  • Improved communication between schools, parents and community.
  • A balanced budget that is responsiive to the needs of our students.

In the future I will continue to:
  • Expand on the accomplishments we have made together for the benefit of South Whittier's students.
  • Prepare our students to be successful in our area high schools and colleges.
  • Prepare our students to be life long learners

I ask for your vote of support so that together we can continue to do great things for our kids in South Whittier.
