My PRIORITIES are:

To create a fiscally sound budget that prioritizes spending by reducing district office administrative costs and increases resources allocated directly to the classroom.

To monitor the modernization of our school, stopping the waste and mismanagement of Bond funds, and making sure control of all projects returns to the oversight committee.

To work hard to make sure Low Performing schools receive all the help they need to bring test scores up, including up-to date textbooks and much needed classroom supplies.

To be visible and available at all the schools, addressing problems in a timely manner. I am committed to rebuilding the communication between school board, parents, staff and community at large; implementing share decision making at all schools.

It is time for change! It is time to elect someone with extensive experience within our community, someone who understands the needs of our students, parents and employees in this district, from preschool to adult school programs; someone that REALLY cares. You can contact me at (626)961-8661 or rudychavarria@att.net.
