Be a True Representative of the Children, Parents & Community

By Benjamin "Ben" Ao

Candidate for Governing Board Member; ABC Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate
I will work hard to put the children first, balance the budget and narrow the school achievement gap.
Dear Voter:

I am a Cerritos resident, computer engineer, former university teacher, community leader and parent of two ABC students.

I am running for the ABC school board because the current board is doing a poor job managing our tax dollars or taking care of our children. We pay over $7,000 per child per year, yet they take money away from our children and increase top administrative salaries; they overspend so much the district is running out of cash, and many ABC schools are still failing. This must stop.

If elected, I will work hard to

  • Restore leadership on the ABC school board
  • Establish accountability of the board to ABC voters
  • Make children's interest our top priority
  • Allocate sufficient funds for school site operations
  • Maintain balanced budget with responsible spending
  • Substantially narrow school achievement gap
  • Be responsive to parent and community concerns

I humbly ask for your support and vote. I will be a true representative of the children, parents & community.

Please visit my web site at http://www.linguasinica.com/drao4abc for more information about my candidacy. Please contact me at 562-802-0805 or drao4abc@yahoo.com any time.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Ao
